As Fire Chief, I would like to welcome you to the Heath Fire Department’s website.

The Heath Fire Department (HFD) has been proudly serving the community since 1951. The members of HFD are highly trained, extremely dedicated, and steadfastly focused on our core mission of PROTECTING THE CITZENS WE SERVE WITH PRIDE, PASSION, AND PROFESSIONALISM.

As our city continues to grow and our environment continues to change, our dedication to providing the highest level of care remains constant. We proudly provide the finest fire protection, rescue, and emergency medical services to our community. While doing so we work relentlessly to innovate new and cost-effective ways to better serve the community in the future. The landscape of the fire service is ever changing, and we pride ourselves on being on the forefront of that change. Our firefighters/paramedics work diligently year-round to maintain and advance the collective skillset to expand their range of response capabilities. Through continued training in emergency medical services, fire response and technical rescue, we strive to continually improve upon the services we deliver.

In awareness of the public’s trust, we do our best to live up to the core values of the Heath Fire Department, on and off duty. These core values are:

  • Pride
