Unconsciousness is a level of consciousness when the person does not respond to voice commands or physical touch. It can be caused by several different medical conditions:
Is the person suffering Extreme Breathing Difficulty?
Is the person making "Funny Noises"?
Is the person "Fighting for Air"?
Is the person "Turning Blue"?
If any of these conditions are present, CALL 911!!
Fainting implies a brief state of unconsciousness lasting a short period. While this is generally less serious than prolonged unconsciousness, it does not imply a harmless condition and should be medically evaluated. Statistically, the most common cause of sudden unconsciousness is a seizure.
Is this person a DIABETIC?
Do they have any HEART PROBLEMS?
Are they BREATHING NORMALLY?
Are they AWAKE (able to talk normally)?
IF FEMALE 12-50, Do they have any Abdominal Pain?
Has this person fainted more than once today?
